Cherry Tree House is a beautiful Victorian Mansion with incredible gardens and grounds. A true green oasis set in a handy urban area. Within the building are a large number of specialist appropriate rooms specially equipped for each age group.

weekdays from 8.00am to 6:00pm

The baby nursery is really special, caring for small groups of children with three separate rooms to cater for all stages of early development from birth to two years. These specialist rooms are full of the latest in educational and play equipment, creating the ideal situation for early years development.
Our toddler nursery covers ages from 2 to 3 years, with three specially equipped activity rooms, specialist toilets and rest areas.
In our pre-school children are supported by educational equipment, a comprehensive curriculum and early years teaching in preparation for entry into mainstream education.
The Cedars Nursery Newcastle has over 5,000 sq. ft. of childcare areas all within our fabulous Grade II listed mansion. This is set in an acre of the most beautiful grounds you will find in central Newcastle supported by a 30 place car park with safe drop off/pick up area within our walled grounds.

The Nursery is set in a beautiful Victorian Mansion nestled opposite to Backhouse park in leafy, green Sunderland. It has over 5,000 sq. ft. of specialist rooms, all set within walled grounds, with a large car park, safe off road drop off/pick up area, and beautiful private gardens for outdoor play.
Our pre-school occupies the whole of the ground floor which has three spacious rooms and direct access to the outdoors to facilitate a seamless indoor-outdoor provision. Our pre-school features specialist educational equipment specific to our comprehensive Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum supported by our early years teachers. This is all devoted to learning through play and thorough preparation for school.
Our baby room, located on the first floor, caters for children aged 3 months to to 2 years. This warm, homely environment has everything from age-appropriate furniture and resources to an abundance of sensory-rich activities shaped by the EYFS.
Our toddler room, houses children aged 2 to 3 year and is also located on the first floor. The toddler room comprises of three rooms, a wet and dry floor area for messy activities, a carpeted area for group time and reading, and a toilet block – perfect for those transitioning from nappies.
